Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?
Psalms 105:1-45. How has my life journey been like God’s deliverance of his chosen ones in the Exodus story we’re studying? Prayer point?
Exodus 12:1-51. Verses 21-24, by what mark is my household identified as obedient to God and protected by him?
I Peter 1:13-25. Verses 22 and 23, if born again, love fervently. In what way do I live up to this at present? In what way must I do much better?
John 14:1-11. Verse 6, am I not often tempted to find some way, other than by Jesus, of coming to the Father? What form does that take?
