Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?
Psalms 119:25-48. Verse 45 KJV, is liberty my divine right, or must I earn it from God? To do so, what are his precepts that I must seek?
Exodus 10:1-29. Verses 8-11, Pharaoh tries to bargain with God. When have I attempted this? What did I learn? Present application?
Revelation 16:1-10. Verse 1, do I take God’s wrath as seriously as this passage would demand? Verse 9, what’s the repentance that is required of me, to avoid such horrors as these?
John 5:25-30. Verse 29 KJV, the resurrection of damnation, related question. How does this idea figure into my own theology, the way I think and live day by day?
