Bible Thursday 3/11: Bank on It

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 25:1-22. Verse 14 KJV, what is God’s open secret, the thing about him that is plain for all to see, yet is missed by most people, often including me?

Proverbs 20:1-30. Verse 4, in what way am I susceptible to spiritual laziness, procrastination, or excuses? How can I counteract that today?

Romans 11:25-36. Verse 29, God is utterly trustworthy and reliable. Is anything right now making it hard for me to feel sure of this? Prayer point for today?

Matthew 18:10-20. Verse 12, Jesus will go to any lengths for one lost sheep. What worry or fear of mine does this address today? Who needs to hear this word of reassurance from me today?
