Bible Saturday 4/24: Not Enough?

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 126:1-6. What’s the work of sowing and reaping that God wants me to be about today? Where do the tears and joy come in? How can I do the work better today than I did yesterday?

Exodus 13:1-22. Verse 21, absent the pillar of cloud or fire, what is my most reliable daily signpost of God’s nearness?

I Corinthians 3:1-11. Verse 2, what’s the symbolism of milk and meat in my spiritual diet? Am I feeding more and more on the latter? Verse 7, what increase has God produced in me this past year, the time of Covid?

John 6:1-14. What situation facing me, my family, or my church right now calls for a miraculous multiplication of supply? Do I look to Jesus for this with doubt or with faith?
