Bible Friday 10/10: Don't Forget

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 103:1-22. Verses 2-4, what are some of God’s specific benefits to me that I won’t forget today: in forgiving me, healing me, shaping and brightening my life?

I Chronicles 16:1-43. Verses 21 and 22, touch not my anointed. What evils and enemies, material and spiritual, is God here commanding not to lay a hand on me and my loved ones?

Ephesians 3:1-7. How can I be, like Paul, a prisoner of Christ? How can I see into the mystery of Christ? How can I experience the promise of Christ?

Luke 14:7-14. How can I put into practice the humility of Jesus in my relationships with others today?
