Bible Friday 5/23: For Judgment

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 58:1-11. Verses 3-6, what are some poisonous thoughts and words that the enemy has been using to do me harm of late? How does God antidote that poison for my protection?

Exodus 34:1-35. God gives the disobedient Israelites a second chance, renewing his covenant with them. When has he given me a second chance?-

I Corinthians 16:13-24. Verse 14, do all things with love. Where is my blind spot? What particular opportunity does this bring up for me today?

John 9:24-41. How are events forcing me to choose between clinging to worldly comfort and daring to follow Jesus?
