Bible Saturday 7/5: Mobbed

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 16:1-11. Verse 8, setting the Lord always before me. What attitudes and actions does this require of me today?

Numbers 11:1-35. Complaining about manna, the Israelites are given quail from God—and his sharp displeasure. When have I been ungrateful to God?What did I learn?

Acts 10:34-48. Cornelius and all his household accept Christ and are baptized. What would it look like in my own surroundings if I experienced, as Peter did, a dramatic expansion of who the gospel is for?

Mark 3:7-12. Multitudes flock to Jesus as word of his healing work spreads. Who are three people that need to hear from me about Jesus, today or one day soon?
