Imagine being a shunned leper in ancient times, or one of India's untouchables even today.  Good thing we're not that cruel to anyone, right?

Imagine if I was half as attentive all day long to God's word in Scripture as I am to this little screen on my phone.

I get to choose which enemies to love and how much, right? Because Abraham bargained with God over Sodom, right?

"Without shedding of blood is no remission." - Hebrews 9:22

"Let justice run down like waters," quoted Dr. King from Amos 5:24 in his August 1963 speech, "and righteousness like a mighty stream." Never forget it was Christianity that impelled the civil rights revolution.

Is my salt savory or spoiled? Is my light bright or dim? Will my conduct today delight Jesus or dismay him?

When Jesus said the meek will inherit the earth, he didn't say when or how. It's not yet evident in politics, sports, or even religion. Mysteries abound.

How embarrassing if I showed up for school still nursing on a baby bottle.

When the Magi saw the young child with his mother, they fell down and worshiped him, and opened their treasures to him.  Can I do less?
